inkstains is a prompt-based writing contest community, dedicated to helping members hone their creative writing skills. Whether you write as an amateur or professional, whether you’ve just started or have been writing for ages, and whatever your social or cultural background – we welcome you. Come join us for a new prompt every Thursday, writing conversation on Tuesday, and voting on all the entries submitted! Our current prompt is a task prompt: include exactly one murder and two teacups.
